ICT Knowledge Exchange
The ICT Knowledge Exchange project was financed as part of the Bilateral fund of the Norwegian Financial Mechanisms and the EEA, and is carried out by the Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNET. The general objective of the project is the exchange of knowledge and experience between the beneficiaries and the partner institutions in order to ensure a high-quality implementation of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education and e-services. The long-term objective is the establishment of constant cooperation between the beneficiaries and partner institutions on projects of common concern, in connection with the application of ICT in education.
Planned Activities
- Study visit by expert group (project team) tasked with the project of computerising Croatian primary and secondary schools (e-schools) to the Norwegian University of Science and Technology with the goal of gaining experience in the application of ICT in university-level education.
- Participation at the largest Croatian conference on ICT in education (CARNET Users Conference), organised by CARNET, by representatives of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
- Workshop carried out by representatives of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology at the CARNET Users Conference on the subject: “Use of e-tools for examinations in education. Tools for learning, assessments and evaluation”.
- Online publication by CARNET, on the CARNET web site, about the experiences from the exchange visit to the Norway University of Science and Technology, intended for educational employees in Croatia.
The total value of the project is EUR 23,311.00. It is implemented from 1 October 2016 to 31 March 2017 and the project partner is the Norwegian University of Science and Technology from Trondheim, Kingdom of Norway.
