As part of the celebration marking the completion of the e-Schools program, one of the largest projects for digitalising the primary and secondary education system, 10 Regional Training Centers (ROCs) were officially opened. These are multifunctional and technologically innovative spaces for educational activities in schools, as well as for educational events organized by local communities, the Ministry of Science and Education, and other agencies and organizations responsible for promoting the development and support of the education system in Croatia.
Each centre has digital infrastructure and modern equipment that follows the latest educational trends and teaching methods. In addition to a wireless network, the centres are equipped with 30 laptops, two interactive screens, and multifunctional furniture that, with its modularity, allows for a quick change of classroom setups, depending on the mode of education delivery.
The newly opened ROCs are located in the following schools:
- Vidikovac Elementary School, Pula
- Bernardin Frankopan Gymnasium and Vocational School, Ogulin
- Stjepan Radić Elementary School Brestovec Orehovički
- Brodarica Elementary School
- Geodetic School, Zagreb
- Dragutin Tadijanović Elementary School, Vukovar
- Agricultural and Technical High School, Opuzen
- “Ivan Seljanec” High School, Križevci
