CyberExchange
The Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNET/National CERT started the implementation of the “CyberExchange” project as one of the project partners within the instrument for connecting Europe – Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). The project holder is CZ.NIC association from Czech Republic, and it includes 11 partner institutions from 10 EU member countries (Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Romania and Slovakia).
The project will last for two years and aims to strengthen cooperation between national and national CSIRTs/CERTs. The CyberExchange project is a response to increasing cyber security threats, with an emphasis on the importance of cross-border cooperation in combating them. In addition, the expertise of those working in the field of cyber security is important.
There will be an exchange of CERT/CSIRT employees during the project, which will serve as an opportunity for individual members of particular teams to share their experiences and strengthen their expertise. The project also focuses on implementing software tools developed by the teams involved in the project to use it for the benefit of the entire information security community. The project also supports the MeliCERTes platform and the Safer Internet Centres.
The total value of the project is 734,301,00 EUR.
The project is being implemented from November 1, 2018 until October 31, 2020.
