As of today, 04 July 2016, at 12 p.m., the Register of .hr Domains enables the registration of domains with one or two alphanumeric symbols and domains with diacritical marks. In order to register a domain, it is necessary to contact one of the authorised registrars whose list is available at the following link: https://www.dns.hr/portal/home/registrars.
It will be possible to register domains with diacritical marks č, ć, đ, š and ž as free or paid, depending on the fulfilment of the requirements of the Ordinance and user preferences.
Applications for the registration of free domains will be submitted via the following link: https://www.dns.hr/portal/register/info-free-hr.
Domains will be registered as they have been so far, according to the principle of chronological priority and without prioritising any natural person or legal entity.
