e-Citizens mToken

e-Citizens mToken is a security level 3 credential that provides users with electronic authentication for accessing e-Citizens system. It consists of a mobile and server application. A mobile application is used to generate one-time passwords by means of which the user accesses public electronic services. Given that the level of security of this credential is 3, it is intended for access to public electronic services within the e-Citizens project, which require access to security credentials level 2 and 3. With e-Citizens mToken application for mobile devices, there is also an e-Citizens mToken server application where users can see their contact information, change them, and use them to activate a client application on another mobile device.

Particular attention is paid to application security and data protection:

• e-Citizens mToken does not store user’s secret PIN
• e-Citizens mToken cannot be copied to another mobile device
• e-Citizens mToken does not use the internet connection for generating a one-time password.

To activate e-Citizens mToken application on a mobile device, you must visit one of FINA branches in person. Along with a properly completed and signed application form, one is required to show the valid identity card or passport to the officer at the counter.
