e-lektire

Thanks to the inclusion in the project “e-Schools: Establishing a System for Developing Digitally Mature Schools (Pilot Project)”, supported by Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNET, portal e-lektire has been enriched with new titles and useful additional features.

Additional contents supplement the reading piece in a way that contributes to its understanding, motivate students, and promote interaction and acquisition of knowledge. Among them, it is worth mentioning the notes on a writer and a work that, in addition to the description of the author’s life, include works in the historical and artistic context, dictionaries of lesser known terms, jargon and dialecticisms, audio and video teasers aimed at encouraging students to read complete works and activities for students who want to know and learn more.

In addition, part of the works is enriched with lightweight reading material and translation of the multimedia into Croatian sign language. Part of the works is also available in Braille’s digital format, which makes it easier for students with disabilities to read and understand literary works and additional content.

Access to content is free and available to students and teachers using electronic identity AAI@EduHr, but also to all interested parties with the registration of user account e-lektire.
