The National Distance Learning Portal Nikola Tesla is a learning and teaching system using digital educational content.

The portal contains:

• digital educational content in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English for high schools
• ECDL modules for individual learning and exercises to obtain a diploma of basic informatic literacy
• training courses on tools and application of technology in education.

Most content is accessed by logging into the system using AAI@EduHr electronic identity. Part of the content is available to all interested users without prior notification, and you can find a list of the contents in the “Open Courses” section.

Digital educational content

Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry are comprised of 145 lessons per subject and cover the subjects in high school, while English is divided into two levels of 24 lessons. They can be used for self-learning (student content) or in teaching (teaching content). The lectures are presented multimedially with animated examples, audio-visual simulation of experiments and interactive elements to make the understanding of the material more interesting and simpler.

To access this content, you must log in to the system.

ECDL courses

ECDL courses are used to acquire basic knowledge of computer and online environment.

Part of the ECDL module is available without prior login to the system:

• online collaboration
• web design
• editing photos
• IT security
• computer basics.

• text processing
• spreadsheets
• presentations
• use of databases
• project planning.

Training courses on tools and application of technology in education

Various contents from the field of e-learning, Internet usage, web design, multimedia, interactive board in teaching, Moodle courses, programming etc. are available on the portal.

To access the part of the courses listed above, you must first log into the system, while some are available without login.
